Final Rosters for 2013 World Baseball Classic
World Baseball Classic, Inc. announced the final rosters submitted before the February 20th deadline by the 16 Baseball Federations participating in the 2013 World Baseball Classic. Final rosters include up to 28 players. Provisional rosters were announced on January 17th.
Two more Aussies ink MLB contracts break record for largest signing class
Todd McDonald has signed with the Texas Rangers while Dakota Mitchell has signed with the Cincinnati Reds becoming the 23rd and 24th Australian signees of the 2012 International Signing Period breaking the previous record of 22 from the 2004 signing class that included Shane Lindsay, Tim Kennelly and Drew Naylor.
Canberra Cavalry win 2013 Australian Baseball League
The Canberra Cavalry have won the 2013 Australian Baseball League. In the championship series this weekend they swept defending champion Perth Heat 2-0 (6-4, 7-6) to win the Claxton Shield for the first time.
Australia to Play Japan in Pre-WBC Series

Australian Baseball League Playoffs start on Friday
SYDNEY, 31 January – The Australian Baseball League Preliminary Final presented by Fielders Choice begins Friday night at 7:30pm at Blacktown International Sportspark.
