Australia will host the first-ever Oceania Baseball5 Qualifier in 2021.

After a successful Baseball5 Coaching Course, interest from clubs has grown this month, amongst children and youths.

The Fiji Islands Baseball and Softball Association had a total of eight youth coach participants - ranging in age from 18 to 26 year – take part in their recent Baseball5 Coaching Course aimed at young, up-and-coming coaches.

The first-ever WBSC Baseball5 World Cup will now be held in June 2021 to allow more time for qualifiers to take place following the outbreak of COVID-19.
